Shearwater Sailing School is a family run sailing school specialising in providing a friendly, fun and quality sailing experience. We offer a full range of RYA Practical and RYA Theory courses to get you sailing confidently and safely. You’ll be surprised at how fast your sailing skills advance.
Shearwater Sailing School also offers mile building cruises to suit your needs. A 5 day RYA course could be extended to take in a passage to Holland or Belgium and bask as part of the course. Sailing cruises include: East Coast, Holland, Belgium, France, The West Country, and Channel Islands.
Come aboard Shanti II for a wine and dine evening. A quiet sail down the River Orwell, moor or anchor and have dinner. Four can be taken in the plush saloon or in the comfortable cockpit followed by an evening sail back under the stars. Extend this experience with a night aboard in the two double cabins and breakfast on a mooring or whilst sailing back up the River Orwell.
