Hulls and Deck

Floats 

The Hull sponsons unique floating system is made from HDPE, which is lightweight yet super-strong. It is recycled and super buoyant. It comes with a 125 year guarantee. Oxygen, salt and water have no effect on HDPE, it is not affected by the ravages of time. It does not need to be painted, or anti-fouled. Our floatation system will never need to be removed from the water for maintenance or cleaning, unlike all other boat hulls. Simply put: HDPE offers zero corrosion, zero maintenance

Deck

The deck surface you walk and live on is high above the water and constructed from multiple layers galvanized steel lattes chassis frame and 100mm insulation from recycled materials, topped with your final flooring surface.

Via shore cable, to your own onboard consumer unit. 

Stand alone solar options can be added on request.

water and waste

There are a number of solutions available whether you are thinking of being fully off grid, or if your highest priority is the environment we have a system.

Fresh water is pressurised mains from the shore, hot water via hot water cylinder 240v.  The used water is then managed as follows.

 

(a) Holding tank under the houseboat. this would be evacuated by a visiting waste lorry when needed.

 

(b) Klagester system that processes the black water rendering the water safe with no offensive odors, returning it to the river clean.

(c) Pump system that takes the waste water off the house boat to the mains sewerage.

Any waste option can be paired with a rainwater harvesting system to keep water usage to a minimum.
