Dutch Motor barge for sale

ICENI is a UK built fully equipped steel live aboard houseboat which is ready as a sail away and is of a size that makes for comfortable handling by two people or to be simply enjoyed at her current picturesque mooring. Built in the Dutch Barge Luxemotor style by Delta Marine in Warwickshire it has been finished by the vendor to his the most exacting standards using the best available materials.   Iceni was dry-docked in September 2017 and a detailed hull survey was carried out (report available) followed by complete ant-fouling with four protective coats. In addition, fifteen salt-water sacrificial anodes were installed.   The vessel is lying on a linear mooring in the eastern reaches of the river Medway in north Kent. The mooring is within private gated land of five acres that is also part of an idyllic wedding venue through the summer months. The mooring also has a large land deck area with plenty of seating and space for summer entertaining with lovely views across the salt marshes. The nearest mainline train station is Rainham from which the HS1 service operates to St. Pancras. Iceni is offered as a completely furnished home and office, ready to live in and including 40” Samsung TV, DVD and DVR, kitchenware, cutlery and crockery.
